VIBRANT ART.
LAYERED STORIES.
A LITTLE MORE JOY.
Original mixed media paintings by
North Carolina artist Randi Markowitz.
Layered mixed-media paintings inspired by nature, transformation
and the beauty hidden beneath the surface.
SPARKING JOY
AND POSITIVITY
Through Vibrant Original Art
I create layered paintings about transformation, possibility and joy—hiding words, symbols and fragments beneath vibrant surfaces for viewers to discover.
MEET RANDI
I'm a mixed media artist, designer and lifelong creative who believes art should make you feel something.
I build my paintings layer by layer using paint, paper, texture, marks and found elements. Some details are meant to be seen immediately. Others are hidden beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered.
SOMETHING NEW
Unfolding A vibrant exploration of growth and transformation, Unfolding brings together torn papers, bold color, intricate patterns, and expressive marks. Layers emerge and recede, balancing energetic shapes with textured white space. A reminder that sometimes the most beautiful discoveries happen when we let go and allow ourselves to unfold into something new.
BEHIND THE LAYERS
Color, collage, creativity, and the stories behind the art.

Each piece has a story of its own, with little details waiting to be discovered. My hope is that my art sparks joy, invites curiosity, and brings a little more color and possibility into your everyday life. I’d love for you to stop by, explore the work, and discover a piece that speaks to you.
